What does gruenwald electronic do?

We are an EMS provider in Berlin and assemble electronic boards in SMD, THT and mixed technology, from material sourcing to inspection.

Where is gruenwald electronic located?

At Ringbahnstraße 123, 12103 Berlin (Tempelhof), conveniently by the A 100 and close to Tempelhof U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations.

Since when has gruenwald electronic existed?

Since 1976. Ing. Engelbert Grünwald founded the company in Berlin-Neukölln. In 2007 it was renamed gruenwald electronic GmbH.

Which technologies do you assemble?

SMD, THT and mixed technology. In addition selective soldering, rework, programming and functional testing, box build and cable assembly.

Do you build prototypes and series?

Yes, prototypes, small and medium series as well as series of several 10,000 assemblies per month, in up to 3 shifts.

What board size is possible?

Our SMD line handles boards up to 680 x 400 mm with a thickness of up to 5 mm.

Do you solder lead-free?

We solder THT lead-free, and SN100C is the standard in selective soldering. For SMD we solder lead-free or leaded, as the customer wishes.

Who sources the material?

For over 90% of our customers we handle the complete sourcing. Partial sourcing and full consignment are equally possible.

How do you inspect the assemblies?

Every assembly is optically inspected by AOI, and we check hidden structures on a spot-check basis in the X-ray machine. We offer functional tests at different depths.

Are you certified?

Yes, to DIN EN ISO 9001. You can view the certificate as a PDF on the Quality page.

How do I get a quote?

Do you develop assemblies or create layouts?

We arrange layout and development through our network. Afterwards we build the assemblies for you.
