Quality

How assemblies are tested: AOI, X-ray and functional test

We inspect every assembly optically with AOI, hidden structures on a spot-check basis in the X-ray machine and, on request, in a functional test, from a simple I/O check to a complex test sequence.

Mitarbeiter prüft Baugruppen unter dem Mikroskop

Stage 1: optical inspection with AOI

AOI stands for automated optical inspection. High-precision systems check every assembly after placement and soldering.

Stage 2: X-ray for hidden structures

What the camera cannot see, for example solder joints under the component, we check on a spot-check basis in the X-ray machine.

Stage 3: functional test

We can subject many assemblies to a functional test at different depths: from a simple I/O check to very complex test sequences. On request we program the assembly beforehand to your specifications.

The quality system behind it

Our IPC trainers regularly train the IPC specialists in quality assurance. Quality management follows DIN EN ISO 9001. More on the Quality page.
